We comply with applicable ASTM standards and other 3rd party testing agencies. Because KidRunner is unique, not all safety standards accommodate aspects of KidRunner's design, specifically the materiality and interconnections of the composite parts. It's better than a stroller but leaves something to be desired.
Things I like:
-It's great having both arms.
-It doesn't feel as heavy as you think it will.
-You can turn around and see your baby.
-Seat fits my baby well. My baby is 9 months old but is really short. She sits great on her own, but she slumps in her regular jogging stroller- I think the seat is just too big. She doesn't slump in the kidrunner. She seems secure in there.
Things I don't like:
-There is no sunshade so depending on where the sun is your baby is blinded by the sun. This feels like a very big deal to me.
-The circular harness latch is very difficult. Seems like a good idea with bad execution.
-The harness that goes around your waist sucks to tighten. My husband and I both use it, so we're constantly loosening and tightening it. Loosening it isn't bad but tightening it sucks.

A few responses: Ref the sunshade; make sure to use the integrated sun shade/scrim whenever the sun is an issue. It does not completely black out the sun but it does provide a lot of shade/light protection. Ref the kid's cockpit harness, we agree. It could be easier. We bias everything for safety and we're one of the only strollers with a five point safety harness. We'll continue to look for even better hardware solutions. Lastly, the runner's waist harness. I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship and design immediately upon opening the box. The parts are high quality and assembly is easy. The Kidrunner breaks down and collapses efficiently after use. We store it inside our mudroom so I am able to bring it in and out daily with minimal effort. No excuse to not use it often! While in use (Mom runs 70+ miles/week, and Dad rucks while pulling our 35# toddler 2x/week) the Kidrunner rolls smooth and the flexible connection to the trailer provides adequate dampening for moderately awful sidewalks on the way to paved paths. Although our Kidrunner has not tackled anything off road, the quality of the route to our regular path of travel is bad enough to give me confidence it would handle unpaved routes with ease as long as they were wide enough for the trailer axels. For the passenger, the Kidrunner provides a comfortable seat and a ride that often puts the little guy to sleep. My only complaint is that We couldn't get one sooner!
Excellent ! It allows us to run with our normal gait while towing our child. It's also a great workout.
Great product, easy to assemble. It is runs very smooth and is very light behind you running. Only issue I found was lack of airflow through the child compartment with the clear plastic side windows. Removable sides or mesh would allow for better flow. I went for a run with my son and he was sweating and hot after 10 mins. So I will be modifying the side windows somehow to improve the airflow.

The single pole with the pivot point really enhances the experience of skiing with a pulk! We love it!

Throughout a lot of 2024, I was running about 25 miles/week with a very nice running jogger. That's about all the more mileage I could stand with the poor form that comes with pushing a jogger. I can already tell that the KidRunner is going to change that for 2025.
After getting used to the KidRunner for just two weeks, I can run much longer and faster than with a jogger. For instance, sub 8 min./mile for 6 miles with a jogger would be a struggle for me, but I can easily do that with the KidRunner. It also handles dirt roads much better than our high end jogger or multisport trailer with jogging attachment. That opens up a lot of new terrain! Our copilot seems quite happy in the cockpit and often falls asleep within the first half mile.
Hopefully constructive criticism:
I'd love to see better sun shade options, easier to snap buckles, and quicker assemble/disassembly options. But overall, I'm really happy a product like this exists! It's a game changer for my husband and I as we try to ramp up milage for the 2025 trail racing season. I'd highly recommend it to any semi serious runners out there.

We are SO excited to use our Kidrunner to take our little one with us on runs, walks, bikes, and snow adventures! Only one problem, when we opened the box to put everything together, one of the bolts with the red ball on the end was missing!! Now we can't use our Kidrunner.

It’s so fun to be out on the Nordic trails with our little one. The KidRunner is lighter than other carriers so we are able to skate ski more efficiently. Going out for family skates together has been so enjoyable! We definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an ergonomic way to pull their kiddo on the cross country ski trails.
