Team Kidrunner:
If breaking KidRunner down to take with you in the auto, cargo bike, etc, we recommend leaving the forks and fork plates on and the wheels and bow placed inside the cockpit for ease of re-assembly. the cockpit is 34.5"L x 25.5H" x 17"W. the forks add another 12+/- inches to the cockpit length. The forks can rotate by releasing the cockpit adjustment quick releases and rotating the forks to fit.
If you need your KidRunner to be more compact, you can remove the forks by sliding the male triangle hub out of the female triangle hub part and leave the fork plates attached to the forks.
